NEXT 3D
Overview
NEXT 3D is an advanced simulation tool developed to revolutionize preclinical testing of nanoparticles in glioma treatment. By simulating nanoparticle interactions with the BBB and tumor microenvironment, NEXT 3D eliminates the inefficiencies of repetitive in vivo trials by providing nanoparticle behavior metrics. Its modular architecture empowers researchers to customize the tool for diverse therapeutic scenarios, including thermotherapy and drug delivery applications.Highlights
- Real-Time 3-D Simulation: Evaluate nanoparticle-BBB interactions in a three-dimensional, locomotive, virtual environment.
- Intuitive Visual Feedback: Visualize metrics with dynamically adjusting color schemes to understand step-by-step progression that physical tests won't show.
- Validated Accuracy: Benchmarked against published literature for in vitro and in vivo studies to ensure accuracy in simulation methods.*
- Plugin-Based Customization: Expand the platform's functionality through custom development, and push your codebase to the community-managed plugin portal.
- Thermotherapeutic In Silico Testing: Track thermal conductivity and temperature effects on glioma cells with the preinstalled plugin's novel regionalization methodology.
Evaluation
NEXT 3D provides high-resolution visualizations of key metrics such as nanoparticle permeability, retention rates, and localized thermal effects. Researchers can upload and review their own simulation data for collaborative analysis.Licenses and Credits
